INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLING
THEATRE
Select and print the five sections
indicated on the WORKPAGE (Bottom Front, Top Front, Base, Back, &
Sides).
FRONT:
Divided into 2 sections: Bottom & the Top. Glue together
as shown in Figs 1 & 2
BASE :
Score, fold, and glue the flaps as indicated to form shallow box.
BACK : Glue
at the bottom to one of the long sides of the Base.
FRONT : Glue
to the remaining long side of Base. Front extending approximately
1cm each side.
(composite)
SIDES: Score
& fold flaps at right angles, the V slots uppermost &
blue side facing outwards.
Glue
a flap to each side of the Back, flush with the top. When glue
is dry, glue other ends
to the Front remembering that the Front is wider so the flap will
be set in about 1cm.

Glue
top to bottom section so that the former lines up with the top
of cutout rectangle.
The "SLIDER" page has six strips. When inserting the character
into the slot score the tab, fold keeping
the black side facing downwards as this helps to identify
the character later
The "CURTAIN" is designed to slide up & down behind the
proscenium front. A grey strip is
glued vertically to each side to form a retaining slot for the
curtain. It is important to only put glue
on the side tabs. A piece of adhesive tape stuck to the top of
the curtain will help to raise & lower it.
